One of the most anticipated game modes for Grand Theft Auto Online, the Online Heists, has been officially delayed by Rockstar, after originally being slated for a spring time release.

The news comes via Rockstar’s Newswire with the developer apologising to its legions of fans for the delay with its new content. The post states that:

“We are very sorry for the delay, and are working hard to bring them to you as soon as we can. Please know that we are focused as always on making the best possible content for you to play and we are thankful to all of you for your patience, understanding and support.”

Rockstar gives no further mention as to when the Online Heists may pop up, although it does go on to state that more content, including DLC, enhancements and and additions will be coming to GTA Online sometime in the future.

GTA V was announced for the PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One at this years E3 with a release date of this fall. Check out the trailer below.
