Sony have announced a release date for the glacier white Playstation 4 in the UK, following rumours of an announcement yesterday.
In an interview with Gamespot, Sony announced that they plan to release a standalone version of the Playstation 4 on 17th October. This was after Amazon UK and ShopTo had the console listed as £350 and due for release on 17th October.
The console was originally released along with Destiny or Drive Club, whilst Far Cry 4 is also due for release with the white Playstation 4 in the UK next month. Although this announcement was made for the UK, there was no word on if this version of the Playstation 4 would be coming to North America
