In response to fan asking about the next installment of Hitman on Twitter, IO Interactive stated that they will have more details to share with everyone later this year.
Rumours of a new Hitman game have been making the rounds for a while now after IO and Square Enix said they would have something to share after stating that there would not be a reveal at E3 2014:
“As we get further into 2014, we will reveal more and get into much closer contact with all of you. There are so many things we have planned and we are extremely excited for the future of Hitman.”
However, the developer failed to provide any info about the upcoming game.
So far, the only detail that has been released so far is the screenshot of an unspecified city as seen below:
The only Hitman related news that has officially been announced so far is the mobile and tablet title ‘Hitman: Sniper‘, which is due out towards the end of this year.
The last entry in the Hitman series was Hitman: Absolution, which came out in 2012 for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC
