MORTAL KOMBAT X DELAYED ON XBOX 360 AND PS3

Warner Bros have confirmed that the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 version of their beat-em-up game, Mortal Kombat X, has been delayed till this summer instead of coming out at the same time as the Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Originally the game was due to come out on all platforms in April. However, after an Amazon listing appeared online, Warner Bros were forced to admit that there will be a delay on Playstation 3 and Xbox 360;

“Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment today confirmed that the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of Mortal Kombat X being developed by High Voltage Software will release this summer. The Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC versions will be available April 14.”

Also today Warner Bros announced the ‘Kombat Pack’, which contains the DLC for Mortal Kombat X. If purchased you will get access to four new playable characters, which include the iconic horror antagonist Jason Voorhess of Friday the 13th fame.

“The Kombat Pack will include access to four playable characters still in development, including horror icon from the Friday the 13th films, Jason Voorhees, as well as two Klassic Mortal Kombat Kombatants and another special guest character. Fans who purchase the Kombat Pack will receive the Samurai Pack containing three new character skins: Ronin Kenshi, Samurai Shinnok and Jingu Kitana, as well as an accompanying skin pack with each playable character.”

For UK residents, if you have decided to buy the Premium Edition of the game, you will receive the Kombat Pack with a copy of the game. If not the pack is available to buy separately for £24.99. Owners of the Park will also get early access to the DLC before it available individually.
