Hot on the heels of Microsoft announcing a 1TB Xbox One, Sony have followed suit by announcing via the Playstation Blog that they also plan to produce a 1TB Playstation 4.
At the moment the new version of the console is only slated for release in Europe. However Sony would be foolish not to release the console in North America as well, so there is every reason to believe it will be released in that region also.
Sony plans to release this version of the console in Europe on July 15th.
